*** A CIRCUMCISION BOARD, CENTER, WAITS FOR NICU BABY, LEFT, UNDER BLUE COVER *** Midwest mom Taylor Michele had to spend weeks last fall in the NICU with her baby boy. I held back her story until now to protect her from retaliation by the hospital in Rockford, Illinois. She sent me this photo on September 26, 2015, and wrote, “I can’t be in this NICU anymore. It is breaking me down emotionally. Everyday I leave with my heart shattered and a little more worn out. The thought of having to leave my son with people who giggle and laugh about circumcision makes me feel like one of the worst mothers ever.

“This little one is scheduled to be mutilated in just a few minutes. The doctors stood over his bassinet with smiles and said, “Awwe wittle one are you weady to get snipped.” He has been fighting for his life for a month now. The nurses called the parents and asked when they would be here for his circumcision and they said they weren’t planning on coming. I want to take my son and run.”

She wrote me again on November 25, 2015, “I watched each and every one of them go into shock and watch their heart rate on the monitor sky rocket. The doctors would sing creepy songs to the babies as they skinned them alive. Every baby that I saw get cut was a premie or had severe medical issues.” …

“The screaming was like he had been crying for hours, gasping, wailing.”
