In Refusing To Defend Assange, Mainstream Media Exposes Its True Nature

Last Tuesday a top lawyer for the New York Times named David McCraw warned a room full of judges that the prosecution of Julian Assange for WikiLeaks publications would set a very dangerous precedent which would end up hurting mainstream news media outlets like NYT, the Washington Post, and other outlets which publish secret government documents.

“I think the prosecution of him would be a very, very bad precedent for publishers,” McCraw said. “From that incident, from everything I know, he’s sort of in a classic publisher’s position and I think the law would have a very hard time drawing a distinction between The New York Times and WikiLeaks.”

Do you know where I read about this? Not in the New York Times.

“Curiously, as of this writing, McCraw’s words have found no mention in the Times itself,” activist Ray McGovern wrote for the alternative media outlet Consortium News. “In recent years, the newspaper has shown a marked proclivity to avoid printing anything that might risk its front row seat at the government trough.”

So let’s unpack that a bit. It is now public knowledge that the Ecuadorian government is actively seeking to turn Assange over to be arrested by the British government. This was initially reported by RT, then independently confirmed by The Intercept, and is today full mainstream public knowledge being reported by mainstream outlets like CNN. It is also public knowledge that Assange’s asylum was granted by the Ecuadorian government due to a feared attempt to extradite him to the United States and prosecute him for WikiLeaks publications. Everyone from President Donald Trump to Attorney General Jeff Sessions to now-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to ranking House Intelligence Committee member Adam Schiff to Democratic members of the US Senate have made public statements clearly indicating that there is a US government interest in getting Assange out of the shelter of political asylum and into prison.

The New York Times is aware of this, and as evidenced by McCraw’s comments it is also aware of the dangerous precedent that such a prosecution would set for all news media publications. The New York Times editorial staff are aware that the US government prosecuting a publisher for publishing important documents that had been hidden from the public would make it impossible for the Times to publish the same kind of material without fear of the same legal repercussions. It is aware that the maneuvers being taken against Assange present a very real existential threat to the possibility of real journalism and holding power to account.

You might think, therefore, that we’d be seeing a flood of analyses and op-eds from the New York Times aggressively condemning any movement toward the prosecution of Julian Assange. You might expect all media outlets in America to be constantly sounding the alarm about this, especially since the threat is coming from the Trump administration, which outlets like the New York Times are always eager to circulate dire warnings about. You might expect every talking head on CNN and NBC to be ominously citing Assange as the clearest and most egregious case yet of Trump’s infamous “war on the free press”. Leaving aside the issues of morality, compassion and human rights that come with Assange’s case, you might think that if for no other reason than sheer unenlightened self interest they’d be loudly and aggressively defending him.

And yet, they don’t. And the fact that they don’t shows us what they really are.

Theoretically, journalism is meant to help create an informed populace and hold power to account. That’s why it’s the only profession explicitly named in the United States Constitution, and why freedom of the press has enjoyed such constitutional protections throughout US history. The press today is failing to protect Julian Assange because it has no intention of creating an informed populace or holding power to account.

Sister Charlotte – Testimony of a Roman Catholic nun

For twenty-two years, “Sister Charlotte” (she never revealed her true name in public) was a member of a Roman Catholic convent of nuns. From a very young age, she thought that this would be the best way to redeem her family from the torments of “purgatory”. She graphically describes many of the terrible tortures and suffering she endured in the dungeons of her convent and how God mercifully rescued her from this life. Two years after publically revealing her experiences, she disappeared. Listener discretion advised.

Transcript of interview with Michael C. Ruppert on Guns and Butter: The Economy Watch with Kellia Ramares and Bonnie Faulkner

Aired on KPFA 94.1 FM, Berkeley, CA Friday, October 12, 2001

FAULKNER: On September 29, The San Francisco Chronicle reported that investors had yet to collect more than $2.5 million in profits they made trading options in the stock of United Airlines before the Sept 11 terrorist attacks. The uncollected money raises suspicions that the unidentified investors had advance knowledge of the attacks.

The securities and exchange commission is investigating high levels of short sales and purchases of “put” options, on the stocks of United Airlines and American Airlines in the three business days before the attacks. Short sales and put options are bets that a stock will fall in price.

Meanwhile, the Interdisciplinary Center, a counter-terrorism think tank headed by former Israeli intelligence officers, has issued a report on Osama bin Laden’s finances, saying insiders profited by nearly $16 million dollars on transactions involving the two airlines and the investment banking firm Morgan Stanley, which occupied 22 floors of the World Trade Center. And that report excluded other unusual trading activity involving insurance companies with significant exposure to damage claims resulting from the attacks.

Joining us by phone from Southern California is Michael C. Ruppert.

Ruppert is a former Los Angeles Police Department field officer and narcotics investigator whom the CIA twice tried to recruit.

In the course of investigations in the mid 1970s, he came across information the CIA was trading drugs in order to fund covert operations. He was forced out of the LAPD in November 1978 after being shot at and threatened for speaking out about CIA drug activity.

At a Town Hall meeting on November 15, 1996, Ruppert publicly confronted then-CIA director John Deutsch with information about three specific CIA drug operations. The confrontation led to an invitation to appear before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, where he spoke and presented written evidence concerning the CIA’s infiltration of and illegal relationships with a number of police departments throughout the country.

Michael Ruppert publishes “From The Wilderness,” a magazine which deals with the effects of illegal covert operations on our society.

He’s here today to discuss his latest article for that magazine about the CIA’s knowledge of, and connections to, the suspect trading that occurred in the days prior to the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon….!searchin/

Are C-Sections Altering Human Evolution?

Oh my god.  Another old doctors’ tale is enshrined in our techno-religion.     The institutionalized medical compulsion to control and exploit first gave rise to the idea of mother and baby as passive objects to be manipulated by doctors at birth, which led to birthing on the back with legs in stirrups,  then to episiotomy and symphysiotomy , epidurals, induction (deliberate miscarriage) and wholesale caesarean sections, all rationalized by the supposed “narrow pelvis” anti-evolutionary theory, and all resulting in pathological birth imprints which feed directly into violence, drug addiction, family disintegration and the psychiatric-industrial complex.

And now the claim is that caesareans are altering human evolution by fostering narrower pelvises.   And so the loop is complete.

Here’s the basic fact that you can take to the bank: the vast majority of doctors don’t know much of anything about birth.   They don’t know how to allow it to happen, or how to facilitate it in the very few instances where help is needed.   They still don’t wash their hands.   They still clamp the cord before placental delivery without a thought.  They don’t even teach breech birth in medical schools any more.    They harass and degrade the mother, objectify, traumatize and brain damage the child and marginalize the father.  The entire process is denial mixed with profit, compulsion and trauma repetition.

If you want to learn something about human birth, go to youtube and watch monkeys give birth.   You’ll know more than most doctors.

Cesarean sections have been on the rise in recent years, and sometimes, even prior to knowing whether or not one will even be necessary, many doctors are even scheduling this method of birth.

For women who have already had a c-section, most doctors tend to just do another one for any future births. I mean, it’s a lot easier when everyone is ready and prepared and can know in advance, right? Well, this is the common narrative that is given, but are we doing more harm than good by interfering with the natural process and order of birth?

This birthing method used to be performed for emergency situations only, in which case it has saved the lives of many mothers and babies. However, a new piece of research is suggesting that this procedure may be altering human evolution.

In this particular study, researchers state that the estimated number of cases in which babies cannot be born naturally have increased from 30 in 1,000 births in the 1960s to 36 in 1,000 in the present day, which may not seem like a lot, but it is a 20 percent rise in obstructed childbirth’s. This is what led researchers to the assumption that this method of birthing could be altering the natural evolution of humans.

When it comes to babies who are about to be born, generally speaking, the larger the better because the longer time spent in the woman’s womb before being born, the better chance they have at survival. However, this standpoint counteracts another that selects women that have a narrow pelvis, which assists women to walk upright which reduces the chance of a premature birth.

The researchers point out that with the increase of c-sections, the natural balance of those two forces is changing. Before the days of caesarians, if a baby’s head was too big or a woman’s pelvis too narrow the babies head would get stuck in the pelvis, this would sometimes kill the child and potentially the mother as well, which in turn prevented those genes from being passed on. Now, because of this method of birth, those genes are being passed on, which could mean more demand for c-sections in the future….

Of course it’s axiomatic that the 20% increase in CS births can’t possibly be due to the increasingly dysfunctional but self-validating and self-adulating echo chamber of medical culture.

Birth at home.

Petition to Trump: Pardon Julian Assange

Why is this petition even necessary?   The delineation between good and evil could hardly be more obvious.   He should be given sainthood.   If he goes to jail, the horns and barbed tail of the establishment will be in your face.   Will you still look away?

This is a red level emergency.

Journalist and Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange, is now in failing health and has been a prisoner in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London for six years even though there is absolutely no legitimate legal ground for his prosecution.

Sign and spread this petition so it can reach President Donald J. Trump to fully and unconditionally pardon Julian Assange in the interests of both justice and mercy.

Additionally, the Department of Justice is on record admitting that prosecuting Assange would also expose all American journalists and news outlets to similar criminal jeopardy.

We are calling on and asking President Trump to take a stand against the establishment media’s and globalists’ assault on liberty and freedom of speech.

Read, sign, and share the full petition here.

9/11 Physics Site

So I’ve been going under the assumption that thermite and conventional explosives were sufficient to explain the available evidence at the WTC site on 9/11.   I still think this is most likely the case, and such a position does have the appeal of not resorting to exotic mechanisms for the destruction of WTC 1,2 and 7.   The presence of unburned thermite and thermite residue on site is well established as is the  flood of molten metal both above ground and underground .    The eyewitness accounts and videos of huge explosions are still out there and the kinematic display of the controlled demolition of WTC7 is obvious if you know what to look for  . In fact the evidence of an orchestrated western-sponsored false flag is so overwhelming on so many fronts that it’s ridiculous that anyone still needs to blog about it (see the reference section here for a bare tip of the iceberg) and personally I’d like to move on.

At this point the big lie is propped up solely by the skeletal remains of the “credibility” of the MSM still remaining in some people’s minds.   It’s gone from comedy to farce to the disgusting immaturity and selfishness of far too many “adults” who are literally begging for their kids to be shepherded into an orwellian hell just so they don’t have to face uncomfortable facts.   It’s no wonder kids lives are being wrecked on a wholesale basis.   They have been abandoned to the state by their “parents”.   They are on their own.

In any case, this site goes to some lengths to present evidence for an additional mechanism at play.   Interesting stuff but not something that would be useful in forcing a credible public inquiry.  But I find it intriguing:

Actual Journalist Tracks Down Syrian Al-Qaeda Munitions to USA

Finally, a journalist for a mainstream UK media outlet is methodically tracking weapons shipment serial numbers and English-language paperwork recovered from al-Qaeda groups in Syria, and he’s literally showing up at arms factories and questioning arms dealers, including officials at the Saudi Embassy in London, asking: why are your weapons in the hands of terrorists?

Veteran Middle East war correspondent Robert Fisk recently published a bombshell report entitled, I traced missile casings in Syria back to their original sellers, so it’s time for the west to reveal who they sell arms to. In it Fisk recalls a bit of detective sleuthing he’s lately been engaged in after stumbling upon a batch of missile casings and shipment paperwork last year hidden in what he describes as “the basement of a bombed-out Islamist base in eastern Aleppo” with the words “Hughes Aircraft Co/Guided Missile Surface Attack” emblazoned on the side of the spent tubes.  …
