Pretext for War: String of Global Bombings Blamed on Iran

“Already, the corporate-media and certified warmongers alike are pinning the recent bombings in Bangkok, Thailand on “bungling” Iranian terrorists.

“US policy consultant, Max Boot, a Neo-Con Project for a New American Century (PNAC) signatory and a member of various corporate-funded think-tanks that endlessly conjure up and promote wars to expand Wall Street and London’s global reach, immediately linked the incident in Bangkok with 2 failed bombings in India and Georgia in his recent article, “Self-Defeating, But Dangerous Terror Acts.” He concludes his baseless appraisal of the string of attacks by stating:

“On one level these events are comforting because they suggest that Iran and its proxies in Hezbollah are not as skillful as generally assumed. But on another level these events should be deeply discomfiting to anyone who subscribes to the notion that the Iranians are calculating Realpolitikers who act so cautiously they can even be trusted with the possession of nuclear weapons. Au contraire: The events of the last two days suggest the Iranian regime, assuming it is responsible for these attacks, is capable of acting in self-defeating, irrational but dangerous ways. In short, hardly the sort of people we should trust with a BB gun–much less nuclear weapons.”

“Boot manages to both bolster the untenable theory that Iran was behind these attacks, while using their reckless, bungling nature to illustrate just how necessary a war is in order to disarm Iran of its alleged nuclear ambitions – a war these attacks provide the perfect pretext for.

“Of course, Boot and the corporate-media never mention that Western policy makers for years have been conspiring to provoke Iran into a war it neither wants nor will benefit from in any conceivable way. This is best encapsulated in this often cited quote from US policy think-tank, Brookings Institution:

“…it would be far more preferable if the United States could cite an Iranian provocation as justification for the airstrikes before launching them. Clearly, the more outrageous, the more deadly, and the more unprovoked the Iranian action, the better off the United States would be. Of course, it would be very difficult for the United States to goad Iran into such a provocation without the rest of the world recognizing this game, which would then undermine it. (One method that would have some possibility of success would be to ratchet up covert regime change efforts in the hope that Tehran would retaliate overtly, or even semi-overtly, which could then be portrayed as an unprovoked act of Iranian aggression.) ”

-Brookings Institution’s 2009 “Which Path to Persia?” report, pages 84-85.

“The same report would go on to say:

“In a similar vein, any military operation against Iran will likely be very unpopular around the world and require the proper international context—both to ensure the logistical support the operation would require and to minimize the blowback from it. The best way to minimize international opprobrium and maximize support (however, grudging or covert) is to strike only when there is a widespread conviction that the Iranians were given but then rejected a superb offer—one so good that only a regime determined to acquire nuclear weapons and acquire them for the wrong reasons would turn it down. Under those circumstances, the United States (or Israel) could portray its operations as taken in sorrow, not anger, and at least some in the international community would conclude that the Iranians “brought it on themselves” by refusing a very good deal.”

GMO “food” may be killing babies in Indonesia

“Known as “Mother Robin,” she was granted CNN’s coveted “Hero of the Year” award on December 27, 2011 (http://us.cnn.com/2011/12/11/living/cnn-heroes/index.html?hpt=hp_t1). After granting her the award, CNN wrote “This is the fifth year that CNN, with the help of entertainers and other celebrities, have honored everyday people changing the world.”

“You can now likely expect CNN to desperately try to revoke that award, because Ibu Robin Lim is reportedly beginning to raise questions about GMOs that the hoax (mainstream) media doesn’t want you to consider. Specifically, “Mother Robin” is now reportedly seeing a huge increase in umbilical cord deformitiesthat she believes may be caused by GMOs, according to text attributed to her.”

Monsanto Accuses Farmers of Planting Too Much GMO Corn

Only a corporate lawyer could wrap his head around this one:

Monsanto Co. and other seedmakers reported a threefold increase last year in U.S. farmers caught violating rules intended to stop insects from developing resistance to genetically modified corn.

“The rules affect farmers planting seeds modified to produce a toxin derived from Bacillus thuringiensis, or Bt, a natural insecticide. The Environmental Protection Agency requires those growers to also plant an adjacent area — a so-called refuge — of non-Bt corn so that bugs feed on both types of corn and don’t become immune to the toxin.

“Seed companies are concerned that bugs’ resistance to modified crops may be increasing. In July, Iowa State University found that some rootworms have evolved resistance to the Bt gene engineered into Monsanto corn. Entomologists in Illinois and other Midwestern states are studying possible resistance in fields where the insects devour roots of Monsanto’s Bt corn.

“Seed companies used sales data to identify farmers who may not have purchased enough seed for a refuge, said Nick Storer, global science policy leader for Dow Chemical Co., another maker of modified seeds.”

It doesn’t take two neurons to realize that insects will always outpace humans’ ability to adapt to these toxified plants.  Just look at the history of pesticides.   The whole paradigm is unscientific and leading to disaster.

Video: War on Drugs

“The first few minutes are in dutch, but the rest is in english. The war on drugs has been going on for more than three decades. Today, nearly 500,000 Americans are imprisoned on drug charges. In 1980 the number was 50,000. Last year $40 billion in taxpayer dollars were spent in fighting the war on drugs. As a result of the incarceration obsession, the United States operates the largest prison system on the planet, and the U.S. nonviolent prisoner population is larger than the combined populations of Wyoming and Alaska. Try to imagine the Drug Enforcement Administration erecting razor wire barricades around two states to control crime and you’ll get the picture. According to the U.S. Dept of Justice, the number of offenders under age 18 imprisoned for drug offenses increased twelvefold from 1985 to 1997. The group most affected by this propensity for incarceration is African-Americans. From 1985 to 1997, the percentage of African-American young people put in prison increased from 53 to 62 percent. Today, 89 percent of police departments have paramilitary units, and 46 percent have been trained by active duty armed forces. The most common use of paramilitary units is serving drug-related search warrants, which usually involve no-knock entries into private homes.”

This is what the subversive corporate propagandists in the MSM call “governance” these days. But of course it’s war against children, families, neighborhoods and ultimately the united states itself. The business model is brilliant: the government smuggles in the drugs and sends the proceeds to be laundered on wall street (a matter of national security to help prop up the diseased and dying dollar), prosecutes the users, then hires private corporations to imprison them, where they serve as sub-minimum wage labor to help drive down labor costs around the country, serving to improverish working-class neighborhoods whose despair creates drug users who feed back into the system.

If you’ve learned nothing else about economics in the past few months, at least recognize that austerity is a HOAX.  It does not reduce government deficits, it does the reverse due to reduced taxable economic activity.  Since it does not accomplish its stated purpose, the obvious inference is that there’s another agenda, that being the same agenda that produced greece’s economic collapse in the first place: the deliberate and orchestrated destruction of the economy in pursuit of the shock doctrine.  Soon the financial terrorist class will be able to buy greek islands and tourist attractions on the cheap.

The hoax of austerity will be especially clear when it is imposed in the USA, which is currently suffering the effects of economic deflation (despite commodity inflation) due to banks’ unwillingness to loan money.  Deflation is precisely what austerity does: it removes liquidity from the economy.   And again: it doesn’t work.  It’s just another tactic for deepening the economic shock.

Stand back and take a look at the overall picture: there is no shortage of things that need to be done and no shortage of people who would do them if they could put food on the table.  The problem is the lack of money in the economic system.  The financial vampires are sucking us dry, just as they did in the great depression.

Money is not rocket science, it’s deliberately mystified by those that control it.

Video: Hitler’s Children

“Never has a generation been so completely taken over by a totalitarian state as was the case in Hitler’s Third Reich: at the age of 10 children joined the Jungvolk movement, at 14 they joined the Hitler Youth, and at 18 they joined the party, the Wehrmacht, the SA, or the SS.

“This 5-part documentary by Guido Knopp and the ZDF Contemporary History Department is the first comprehensive film portrayal of the young people in the Third Reich.

“With in-depth witness statements and some previously unpublished archive material, the documentary demonstrates how Hitler succeeded in gaining power over his children through years of manipulation.”

Iran Presses Ahead with Dollar “Attack”

“Iran presses ahead with dollar attack

“Last week, the Tehran Times noted that the Iranian oil bourse will start trading oil in currencies other than the dollar from March 20. This long-planned move is part of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s vision of economic war with the west.”

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/commodities/9077600/Iran-presses-ahead-with-dollar-attack.html

This is an interesting use of the word “attack”.  But I guess if you think you own the world then anyone with a different idea could be said to be attacking your delusion.  The wonder of it all is that the american people are not yet boycotting federal reserve notes.  Let’s hope it happens before china starts buying up US assets wholesale with the fed’s fraudulent currency.

Video: The Drugging of Our Children

“In the absence of any objective medical tests to determine who has ADD or ADHD, doctors rely in part on standardized assessments and the impressions of teachers and guardians while the they administer leave little room for other causes or aggravating factors, such as diet, or environment. Hence, diagnosing a child or adolescent with ADD or ADHD is often the outcome, although no organic basis for either disease has yet to be clinically proven. Psychiatrists may then prescribe psychotropic drugs for the children without first without making it clear to parents that these medications can have severe side-effects including insomnia, loss of appetite, headaches, psychotic symptoms and even potentially fatal adverse reactions, such as cardiac arrhythmia. And yet, despite these dangers, many school systems actually work with government agencies to force parents to drug their children, threatening those who refuse with the prospect of having their children taken from the home unless they cooperate.”

County Sheriff Project

The carefully constructed left-right divide is certainly in evidence in the left’s lack of outreach to police and the military, who after all are sworn to protect and defend that which is being destroyed by the puppetmasters.  Their willingess to take such an oath is a heck of an indication that their hearts are in the right place, by and large.  So where is the left on this particular issue:

“County Sheriff Project:  Enforcing the Bill of Rights, Protecting the People’s Liberties

“Free America Now!  The county sheriffs are key to taking back our Republics! Please support these brave oath keepers.

” … That this Assembly doth explicitly and peremptorily declare, that it views the powers of the federal government, as resulting from the compact to which the states are parties;…and that in case of a deliberate, palpable and dangerous exercise of other powers not granted by the said compact, the states who are parties thereto have the right, and are in duty bound, to interpose for arresting the pro[gress] of the evil, and for maintaining within their respective limits, the authorities, rights and liberties appertaining to them.”

“Source: The Virginia Resolution, adopted by the Virginia Senate on December 24, 1798, as a protest against the Alien and Sedition Acts passed by Congress. It was authored by James Madison, in collaboration with Thomas Jefferson, who authored a set of resolutions for Kentucky.

“The way to have good and safe government is not to trust it all to one, but to divide it among the many, distributing to every one exactly the functions he is competent to. Let the national government be entrusted with the defense of the nation, and its foreign and federal relations; the State governments with the civil rights, law, police, and administration of what concerns the State generally; the counties with the local concerns of the counties, and each ward direct the interests within itself. It is by dividing and subdividing these republics from the great national one down through all its subordinations, until it ends in the administration of every man’s farm by himself; by placing under every one what his own eye may superintend, that all will be done for the best. What has destroyed liberty and the rights of man in every government which has ever existed under the sun? The generalizing and concentrating all cares and powers into one body.” – Thomas Jefferson

http://www.countysheriffproject.org/

Jefferson was right on.  He had an intuitive grasp of emergence in complex systems.   The problem is generic and present in all sufficiently large governments.  This lesson of history has been forgotten at great peril to all of us.

It’s time for leftists to recognize that the federal government is lost for the foreseeable future.  Whatever the utility of mass action in the building of highways, libraries, public schools etc has become irrelevant.  The tools for such action on a national level are no longer under our control, they are being used against us.  At this time, in this context, there is no difference between socialism and fascism.  The only option which remains is to disengage from the system.  The system is doomed, the only question is whether it will destroy your community in the process of destroying itself.  Localize now.  Turn off your TV, step away from your computer, look around at reality.  There’s a lot to work with right in your own neighborhood.  You don’t need walmart or federal reserve notes to help your neighbor and get help in return.   And guess what, your brain is designed for such social networking.  Time to fire up those atrophied neurons and rediscover your innate human power, which lies in human community.  This is what the ruling elites don’t get: empathy is a far more potent source of social organization than deception and fear.  A lot more fun too.  Their psychopathy is their weakness, not their strength.

The FBI’s Next COINTELPRO Target

“Southern Oregon Conservatives and Liberals Join to Protest NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act of Fiscal Year 2012)

“MEDFORD, OREGON – On Monday 13 February 2012 at Noon in Vogel Plaza there will be a demonstration against the passing of the NDAA, including Wake Up America Southern Oregon, and Occupy Coalition of Ashland, Medford, and Grants Pass, as well as concerned individuals across the political spectrum. ”

This is the kind of coalition building that got Judi Bari bombed by the FBI 20 years ago.  ( http://www.judibari.org/ )  As long as you stay on your side of the left-right Great Wall, you’re safely contained.  But if you try to chisel a hole in it, look out!

BTW: The FBI is still trying to cover its tracks re: Judi Bari.  See above link.
