South African doctor who raised alarm about omicron variant says we are panicking unnecessarily

As the USA stokes the fear, to create a need for a new vaccine…

The first South African doctor to alert the authorities about patients with the Omicron variant, Dr. Angelique Coetzee, chairwoman of the South African Medical Association, told “The Andrew Marr Show” and “The Telegraph” in the U.K. that the symptoms of the new variant are unusual but mild.

“It’s all speculation at this stage,” she said. “It may be it’s highly transmissible, but so far the cases we are seeing are extremely mild.”

“I think you already have it there in your country. You’re not even knowing it. I would say at this stage definitely [you are panicking unnecessarily] Maybe two weeks from now I will have a different opinion.”
