BEWARE of Green or Rotten Potatoes – plant them before they plant you

The “deadly nightshade” family can be especially deadly if exposed to light and warmth and allowed to begin to sprout, or “go green”. The “deadly nightshade” family includes potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants, goji berries, peppers… search for details.

This video is about a little girl whose entire family died in a few minutes of time after going down into the cellar – one after the other – to collect potatoes for dinner. The potatoes had gone green and toxic fumes had accumulated.

Keep your potatoes in a cool, dark place. And if in doubt, throw them out. Cut them open if you suspect they are green. If you throw them into the garden, they might grow a healthy crop of new potatoes in a few months.  Don’t toy around with rotten potatoes, no matter how “rare” food might ever become.

Eating dandelions is far healthier… but watch it there too… a few dandelions go a long way.
