Covered in today’s Situation Update podcast:
- My commitment to bring you truthful, honest information regardless of whether it’s good news or bad news.
- Discerning the difference between good faith people vs. bad faith actors. There are active CIA agents running disinfo campaigns right now to trick Trump supporters into a state of inaction.
- Sidney Powell warns that Trump is surrounded by deep state swamp creatures who are blocking every possible move to save the republic.
- Mike Lindell attempts to meet with Trump, but they largely shut him down, further blocking the President from concerned citizens or business leaders who are offering solutions.
- All the tools Trump needs have been put in place, but he is so far failing to pull the trigger. Will that change soon?
- Democrats and the left-wing media suddenly support walls when it serves their political agenda.
- US govt. non-classified Joint Threat Assessment document reveals insane level of paranoia against “Homegrown Violent Extremists” (HVE) which the FBI claims possess skills of invisibility. This is why nobody can see all the HVEs, because they are invisible.
- Biden as “president” is utterly illegitimate, and so is Congress, due to the rigged 2020 elections. All laws they pass are null and void from their moment of inception. Americans can borrow a page from SCOTUS and claim Biden’s laws have “no standing.”
- The Wuhan Institute of Virology did carry out weaponized, military-linked research to produce the coronavirus.
- Chinese troop movements in Canada now traced to areas north of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. Is a Chinese invasion imminent?
- Democratic California Rep. Eric Swalwell is back on the Homeland Security committee, despite sleeping with a Chinese spy, and now he says he will focus on, “white nationalist extremism.” That term means any White person who loves their country and who believes the election was rigged. In other words: NORMAL people.
- Hong Kong threatens to pull the web domains of .hk websites which criticize the Chinese government. The domain name purge begins.
- Foreign leaders condemn the United States for brutal censorship against conservatives.
- Patrick Byrne warns the left-wing authoritarians will come for all the podcasts and apps now being used by conservatives, including Signal and Telegram.
- Leftists begin their push for dehumanization of all conservatives so that they can justify their genocidal rampage that’s about to be launched, which involves door-to-door mass executions of conservatives.
- My warning for all conservatives to leave the Democrat-controlled cities now, before the purge / executions get under way.
- If he’s sworn in, Biden plans to overtake FEMA and deploy FEMA to administer vaccines to 100 million Americans in 100 days. This is a mass euthanasia program which will help reduce the U.S. population from 330 million to below 100 million over the next few years.
- Operation Trust revealed as a “pacification hoax” to deceive Trump supporters into accepting defeat. Remember, “Trust Jeff Sessions?” That was the battle cry of Q for several years. Sessions turned out to be a traitor.
- Operation Trust is described in Soviet defector Anatoliy Golitsyn’s book, “New Lies for Old.”
- America is about to plunge into complete lawlessness and civil war.
- If Trump takes no action, he condemns the nation to a bloody war of attrition for years to come, costing millions of lives and utterly gutting the economy.

This seems like an apt analogy to where we are today. The infection vectors which spread the plague could be propaganda, psych drugging, threats, money flows, blackmail or outright brainwashing, all of which have the potential to change human spirits into demons, although unfortunately without changing external appearances, at least initially. Wouldn’t it be nice if they all looked like agent smith?

00:00 We are in the midst of a societal GreatReset like the change from agrarian decentralized societies to industrialized nation states. Major political instability around the world. LA Mayor works with Davos to prepare for delivery by drone b/c travel restrictions will NOT be lifted… no movement ZERO VMT (vehicle miles traveled), punishment of NJ gym owner — all money confiscated w/o due process — a FalseFlag pandemic for RedFlag confiscation; Gates largest owner of farmland now
40:42 A top priority is to spend $20 billion to speed up vaccines, and to make them free to everybody regardless of their immigration status.
1:06:47 Trump signed bill to give Gates’ GAVI $4BILLION; now he asks Congress to remove the money
1:25:47 China arrests people who attended “ZOOM church”. The pattern of tyranny is established in China, then followed globally. So when they tell you it’s not important to have in-person political or religious meetings, just do it with Zoom — here’s where that is headed.
1:38:16 The last (and only) President to get the US out of debt was Andrew Jackson 186 years ago. Within a couple of weeks there was an assassination attempt on his life. Now with global cashless society, bankers are close to making sure no one owns anything — but them as they draw up plans to come after Bitcoin as well
2:06:10 They’re not just masking us — they’re gagging us online. What platforms are people moving to where they can at least speak freely online?
For the first time, scientists have measured the different types of genomic DNA changes that occur in skin cells, finding that mutations from ultraviolet (UV) light is especially common, but Black individuals have lower levels of UV damage compared to white people. Dmitry Gordenin and colleagues at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, report these findings January 14 in PLOS Genetics.
The DNA in our skin cells suffer damage from sources inside and outside the body, leading to genomic changes such as mutations that may lead to cancer. UV light is the major source of these mutations, but byproducts of cellular metabolism, like free radicals, and DNA copying errors that occur during cell division also cause genomic changes. These mutation-causing mechanisms are well known, but previously, no one had been able to accurately measure the relative contributions from each source.
In their new paper, Gordenin and his colleagues quantified the amounts of each type of genomic changes by sequencing the genomes of skin cells donated from 21 Black and white individuals, ranging in age from 25 to 79. The researchers discovered that the total amount of genomic changes from metabolic byproducts accumulates as a person gets older, while the amount of genomic changes caused by UV damage is unrelated to a person’s age. Additionally, they showed that genomic changes from UV light is common, even in skin cells typically shielded from the sun, but it was less prevalent in Black donors compared to white donors….
Is this not cause to wonder whether this is a beneficial adaptation to a normal UV environment rather than an indication of damage?
But no matter, this will be used to justify further “protection” from sunshine. Who needs vitamin D?
There is no such thing as medical research. There is only medicalized corporate PR.
Part of the main duty of OffGuardian is to troll through the masses of media output and try and pick up patterns. Sometimes the patterns are subtle, a gentle urging behind the paragraphs. Sometimes they’re more like a sledgehammer to the face.
This has been face-hammer week. In fact, it’s been a face-hammer year.
From “flatten the curve” to “the new normal” to “the great reset”, it’s not been hard to spot the messaging going on since the start of the “pandemic”. And that distinct lack of disguise has carried over into other topics, too.
We pointed out, a few days ago, the sudden over-use of the phrase “domestic terrorism” preparing us for what is, almost certainly, going to be a truly horrendous piece of new legislation once Biden is in office.
Well, the buzz-phrase doing the rounds in the wake of Donald Trump being banned from the internet is “the new definition of free speech”…and variations on that theme.
Firstly, and papers on both sides of the Atlantic want to be very clear about this, Donald Trump being banned simultaneously from every major social network is not in any way inhibiting his free speech.
Indeed none of the tens of thousands of people banned from twitter et al. have had their free speech infringed either. Neither have any of the proprietors – or users – of the Parler app which the tech giants bullied out of existence.
Free Speech is totally intact no matter how many people are banned or deplatformed, the media all agree on that (even the allegedly pro-free speech think tanks).
They also agree that maybe…it shouldn’t be. Maybe “free speech” is too dangerous in our modern era, and needs a “new definition”.
That’s what Ian Dunt writing in Politics.co.uk thinks, anyway, arguing it’s time to have a “grown-up debate” about free speech.
The Financial Times agrees, asking about the “limits of free-speech in the internet era”.
Thomas Edsall, in the New York Times, wonders aloud if Trump’s “lies” have made free speech a “threat to democracy”.
The Conversation, a UK-based journal often at the cutting edge of the truly terrifying ideas, has three different articles about redefining or limiting free speech, all published within 4 days of each other.
There’s Free speech is not guaranteed if it harms others, a drab piece of dishonest apologia which argues Trump wasn’t silenced, because he could make a speech which the media would cover…without also mentioning that the media has, en masse, literally refused to broadcast several of Trump’s speeches in the last couple of months.
The conclusion could have been written by an algorithm analysing The Guardian’s twitter feed:
the suggestion Trump has been censored is simply wrong. It misleads the public into believing all “free speech” claims have equal merit. They do not. We must work to ensure harmful speech is regulated in order to ensure broad participation in the public discourse that is essential to our lives — and to our democracy.
Then there’s Free speech in America: is the US approach fit for purpose in the age of social media?, a virtual carbon copy of the first, which states:
The attack on the Capitol exposed, in stark terms, the dangers of disinformation in the digital age. It provides an opportunity to reflect on the extent to which certain elements of America’s free speech tradition may no longer be fit for purpose.
And finally, my personal favourite, Why ‘free speech’ needs a new definition in the age of the internet and Trump tweets in which author Peter Ives warns of the “weaponising of free speech” and concludes:
Trump’s angry mob was not just incited by his single speech on Jan. 6, but had been fomenting for a long time online. The faith in reason held by Mill and Kant was premised on the printing press; free speech should be re-examined in the context of the internet and social media….
ASSESSING MANDATORY STAY-AT-HOME AND BUSINESS CLOSURE EFFECTS ON THE SPREAD OF COVID-19
Background and Aims: The most restrictive non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) for controlling the spread of COVID-19 are mandatory stay-at-home and business closures. Given the consequences of these policies, it is important to assess their effects. We evaluate the effects on epidemic case growth of more restrictive NPIs (mrNPIs), above and beyond those of less restrictive NPIs (lrNPIs).
Methods: We first estimate COVID-19 case growth in relation to any NPI implementation in subnational regions of 10 countries: England, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, and the US. Using first-difference models with fixed effects, we isolate the effects of mrNPIs by subtracting the combined effects of lrNPIs and epidemic dynamics from all NPIs. We use case growth in Sweden and South Korea, two countries that did not implement mandatory stay-at-home and business closures, as comparison countries for the other 8 countries (16 total comparisons).
Results: Implementing any NPIs was associated with significant reductions in case growth in 9 out of 10 study countries, including South Korea and Sweden that implemented only lrNPIs (Spain had a non-significant effect). After subtracting the epidemic and lrNPI effects, we find no clear, significant beneficial effect of mrNPIs on case growth in any country. In France, e.g., the effect of mrNPIs was +7% (95CI -5%-19%) when compared with Sweden, and +13% (-12%-38%) when compared with South Korea (positive means pro-contagion). The 95% confidence intervals excluded 30% declines in all 16 comparisons and 15% declines in 11/16 comparisons.
Conclusions: While small benefits cannot be excluded, we do not find significant benefits on case growth of more restrictive NPIs. Similar reductions in case growth may be achievable with less restrictive interventions….

The main central banks of the world are increasing money supply in an uncontrolled and unjustified way in what is so far the largest transfer of wealth from savers to governments ever. While savers see their deposits disappear with negative real rates and devaluations, while central banks seek at all costs to impoverish their neighbors through devaluations to benefit deficit-ridden states, financial repression continues to generate responses from citizens, who seek to safeguard their savings from the monster confiscator: devaluation and inflation.
The main factor that has led Bitcoin to skyrocket is the global fiat currency debasement. In a year where headlines talked about a weak dollar, the US currency has strengthened relative to 67 currencies. It is not weak dollar, but weak fiat currencies.
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum become as an alternative to financial repression and a store of value, especially for citizens in emerging economies where currency depreciation is not a risk but a certainty….
Food allergies have been increasing dramatically across the developed world for more than 30 years. For instance, as many as 8% of children in the U.S. now experience potentially lethal immune system responses to such foods as milk, tree nuts, fish and shellfish. But scientists have struggled to explain why that is. A prevailing theory has been that food allergies arise because of an absence of natural pathogens such as parasites in the modern environment, which in turn makes the part of the immune system that evolved to deal with such natural threats hypersensitive to certain foods.
In a paper published Jan. 14 in the journal Cell, four Yale immunobiologists propose an expanded explanation for the rise of food allergies — the exaggerated activation of our food quality control system, a complex and highly evolved program designed to protect us against eating harmful foods. The presence of unnatural substances, including processed food, or environmental chemicals, such as dishwashing detergent, in the modern environment, as well as the absence of natural microbial exposure, play a role in disrupting this food quality control program, they argue.
The theory can lay the groundwork for future treatment or prevention of food allergies, the scientists suggest.
“We can’t devise ways to prevent or treat food allergies until we fully understand underlying biology,” said co-author Ruslan Medzhitov, Sterling Professor of Immunobiology and investigator for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. “You can’t be a good car mechanic if you don’t know how a normal car works.”
The quality food control program present in the biology of all animals includes sensory guardians — if something smells or tastes bad, we don’t eat it. And there are sentinels in the gut — if we consume toxins, they are detected and expelled. In the latter case, a part of the immune system as well as parasympathetic arm of the nervous system also mobilize to help neutralize the threat.
This type of immune system response triggers allergies, including food allergies, a fact that gave rise to the so-called “hygiene hypothesis” of food allergies. The lack of natural threats such as parasites made this portion of the immune system hypersensitive and more likely to respond to generally innocuous proteins found in certain food groups, the theory holds. This helped explain why people living in rural areas of the world are much less likely to develop food allergies than those living in more urban areas.
However, food allergies have continued to rise dramatically long after elimination of parasites in the developed world, Medzhitov noted. So the Yale team now theorizes that other environmental factors influenced activity within the natural food quality control system and contributed to immune system hypersensitivity to certain food allergens.
“One factor is increased use of hygiene products and overuse of antibiotics and, secondly, a change in diet and the increased consumption of processed food with reduced exposure to naturally grown food and changed composition of the gut microbiome,” Medzhitov said. “Finally, the introduction of food preservatives and environmental chemicals such as dishwashing detergents introduced novel elements for immune system to monitor.” Collectively, these changes in the environment effectively trigger food quality control responses making the immune system react to food proteins the way it would react to toxic substances, the team argues.
“It’s guilt by association,” Medzhitov said….
Here’s a different association that’s glaringly absent from such papers: the rise of vaccine-induced immune dysfunction. Vaccines are designed to alter the immune system, after all. How much of a stretch is it to think that the numerous chemicals and biological contaminants (and metal nanoparticle contaminants, as it turns out) injected along with adjuvants, might trigger a hypersensitivity to such substances?
