A new survey by research firm Kekst CNC has found that on average, people in the U.S. think 9 per cent of the population, around 30 million people, have died from coronavirus when the actual figure is less than 155,000.
The survey results generally across six countries, including America, found that, “People think coronavirus is more widespread, and more deadly, than official figures show.”
In Sweden and the UK in particular, people vastly overestimate the number of lives COVID-19 has claimed.
From the survey;
“Despite relatively low incidence rates compared to earlier in the pandemic in most countries (with the exception of the U.S.), people significantly over-estimate the spread and fatality rate of the disease. In Sweden and the UK for example, the public think 6-7% of people have died from coronavirus – around one hundred times the actual death rate based on official figures.”
In other words, people in the UK think coronavirus is 100 times more deadly than it actually is.
The numbers for America are even more out of sync with reality.
The survey found that Americans think 9% of the population in the U.S. have died from coronavirus. This percentage would equate to almost 30 million COVID-19 deaths. The actual death toll currently stands at just under 155,000 deaths.
Americans’ estimation of coronavirus deaths is therefore a whopping is 225 higher than the actual number of people who have died.
People in the U.S. also believe that 20% of Americans have had coronavirus, 20 times higher than the number of confirmed cases.
The survey also revealed that across all countries, “people think 5-12% of people currently have coronavirus.” In reality, even at the height of the pandemic, in England for example, only 0.27% of the community population had COVID-19.
This highlights once again how media alarmism surrounding the spread and lethality of the virus has caused many people to become hysterical and overly paranoid about COVID-19.
In reality, the 2017-18 flu season in the UK claimed more lives than coronavirus while ONS statistics show that current overall deaths are below the five year average for the sixth week in a row.
As we highlighted on Monday, in some cases this has resulted in bizarre behavior, such as people literally leaping out of the way of other people walking their way and people being “too scared” to go outside.
The innumerable incidents involving aggressive confrontations and in some cases violent attacks on others for the sin of not social distancing or wearing a mask can also be partly explained by media scaremongering coverage of the pandemic.
One of the claims Democrats love to tout about the Obama administration is that it was “scandal free.” For those who paid attention to the IRS targeting, Benghazi, Fast & Furious, and the cash smuggled to Iran, to name just a few illegal and/or immoral activities, that was always a peculiar boast. The Obama administration was up to its eyeballs in scandals. It was Obama who finally said what had really happened, which was that “We didn’t have a scandal that embarrassed us.”
In other words, the issue wasn’t that the administration was scandal-free. The issue was that the media protected the administration from voters’ wrath should they learn about those scandals.
The Russia Hoax has benefitted from the media’s continued unwillingness to report on Obama-era scandals. When it looked as if the Russia Hoax could achieve a coup against the Trump presidency, members of the press developed a form of Tourette syndrome that saw them obsessively mouth “Russia, Russia, Russia” all day, every day.
However, when Robert Mueller’s handpicked Democrat-friendly team, despite two years and 35 million dollars, was unable to find a smidgen of proof that Trump or his administration had colluded with the Russians, leftists inside and outside of the media fell silent. Sure, they’ll still raise the fact that Trump, at a press conference, said, “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 [Hillary Clinton] emails that are missing,” but their hearts aren’t in it.
They know that normal people understand that Trump was making a pointed joke about the fact that the Russians, the Chinese, and every other hacker on earth had read through Hillary’s emails for years. Aside from leftists being utterly humorless, the media learned that raising this statement periodically was chum to the true believers but not very interesting to anyone else.
When it came to burying the whole Russia Hoax, the Democrats and their media lackeys were helped by the fact that the story is so gosh-darned complicated. It involved dozens of people (some genuinely bad actors and some useful idiots), several countries, thousands of pages of cryptic papers, and a dizzying timeline. It’s hard to get people who aren’t political junkies excited about something like that, and even harder to arouse them to a sense of outrage over what the Obama administration did.
And that’s where Andrew C. McCarthy’s latest column comes in. His columns are always interesting because they help explain each new revelation about the hoax. This time, though, McCarthy has opted to open with an overview of the entire scandal and why it matters. With unusual clarity, he explains how the Obama administration used the vast power of the intelligence agencies to spy on an opposition candidate and then try to commit a coup.
I’ve cherry-picked a few relevant paragraphs, but I urge you to read the whole thing. Once you’ve read it, you’ll understand why the Russia Hoax isn’t just an inside politics thing that ultimately doesn’t matter: …
As we have been reporting this week, a group of doctors who have been on the front lines treating COVID patients, successfully, descended upon Washington D.C. this week to conduct press conferences and a 2-day “White Coat Summit” to share their experiences in treating, and curing, their COVID patients.
They claim that they represent “thousands” of doctors who have been censored.
Their first press conference was sparsely attended by the Washington D.C. media, and the only media company that filmed it and shared it online, Breitbart News, was immediately censored, and the video was quickly deleted from Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
But the video of that press conference has been preserved, and has now been viewed by over 20 million people, and our own copy that we have published on our Bitchute Channel has been viewed over 125,000 times so far.
The next day, the Frontline Doctors’ website, which used to be at https://www.americasfrontlinedoctors.com, was removed by the company that was hosting it.
Two days ago, the same day as the first press conference, someone bought the domain americasfrontlinedoctors.org, which now displays the CDC’s official website about COVID-19. (See image at the top of this article.)
Why is this Life-Saving Information being Censored?
The reason why the U.S. Government and their “health” agencies, as well as Big Tech, are censoring this information is very simple: cures to diseases are not profitable.
Millions of Americans are out of work, tens of thousands of small businesses have closed, and the largest transfer of wealth in the history of the United States has occurred during the past few months, allocating close to 2 TRILLION dollars to Big Pharma, most of it for COVID vaccines.
And all of this is a CRIMINAL ACT against the American people, if what these Frontline Doctors say is true, which is that there is a simple cure for COVID, and that “nobody has to die” from it.
When you understand what is truly happening in America and around the world today, then it is very easy to understand why Big Pharma, Big Tech, and the U.S. Government, all of whom will profit from COVID vaccines and interventions, while at the same time putting into place massive surveillance systems to take away our freedoms, would want to silence this group of doctors who simply want to stop their patients from dying due to the COVID fear.
Here is the full Summit from Day 1 which is also hard to find. …
CNN sure seems to have trouble with its estimates. First, they confuse a regular cold and flu season with the bubonic plague. Then they confuse a massive protest as being merely a “large crowd of far-right groups gathered for a ‘sit-in’ at Berlin’s iconic Brandenburg Gate on Saturday to protest against the German government’s coronavirus restrictions.”
The protestors referred to themselves as “The Second Wave.” And, you need only take a look at the following photo to see it was a tidal wave. For comparison purposes, the upper photo is from a 2001 “love parade” held in the same location (which The Guardian reports averages 1.5 million people). The lower photo is of the corona protest on Saturday. I was never good at guessing how many jelly beans were in the jar, so please decide for yourself:
Sure looks like more than the 17,000 the CNN estimates, wouldn’t you agree?
Called the “Day of Freedom: The End of the Pandemic,” clearly this protest was more than just a large gathering consisting of “anti-vaccine groups and some far-right and neo-Nazi organizations.”
“Organizers said up to 1.3 million people took part,” says the Guardian, “a figure that police denied.”
A friend in Germany, however, tells me that “police were reporting around 800,000.”
The Guardian was a little more generous than the CNN, estimating 20,000 protesters. Both media sources must have trouble counting, so busy filling their articles with admonishments about the “participants’ failure to wear face coverings or keep a 1.5-metre distance from each other.” They are sure missing the point. That’s exactly what they are protesting against: using unproven methods to stop an unproven pandemic.
Scanning the news, it seems most German politicians decried the protestors for spreading COVID-19 by congregating (in a group certainly larger than five) to protest their own government. However, Tino Chrupalla, a co-chair of the Alternative for German party, told The Guardian: “I followed the demonstration, which was peaceful. The people went on to the streets to defend their basic rights and their civil liberties, and that’s something one can only welcome.”
Documents unsealed by court order Thursday reveal correspondence between Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, and also allege former President Bill Clinton was seen on the private island where Epstein was alleged to have taken underage girls.
