It shouldn’t be necessary to point out that linux is the most important OS which is not under the direct control of unaccountable corporate interests which have a history of covert cooperation with the deep state. Taking a wrecking ball to the project by retroactively revoking critical kernel code under the provisions of the GPL license would suit our surveillance state overlords just fine. Sound impossible? That’s what I thought too. But maybe not.
I would not be at all surprised if this was being orchestrated by the usual suspects, especially given that the first target of the “liberals” had earlier blocked a patch which would have given the NSA a back door into the kernel.
