Despite lying their way into massacres of millions of innocent people over the past 40 years. Give. me. a. break. They have abused the trust of their viewers for far too long. Trump is just pointing out that they are liars for hire.
The UN human rights chief said Wednesday that President Donald Trump’s relentless attacks on the media could trigger violence against journalists, suggesting the US leader would be responsible.
Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein voiced particular alarm over Trump’s verbal assaults on CNN, the New York Times and Washington Post.
“To call these news organisations ‘fake’ does tremendous damage and to refer to individual journalists in this way, I have to ask the question, is this not an incitement for others to attack journalists?
“And let’s assume a journalist is harmed from one of these organisations, does the president not bear responsibility for this, for having fanned this?” Zeid told reporters in Geneva.
“I believe it could amount to incitement,” he added, saying Trump had set in motion a cycle that includes “incitement, fear, self-censorship and violence.”
According to the rights chief, Trump’s assault on the media has emboldened other countries to crack down on presss freedoms. …
The last sentence is of real concern. Yet the question remains of what to do about “journalists” who aren’t journalists at all? It’s not that they make innocent mistakes. Their deception is often willful, thus they are accomplices to whatever crime is carried out under cover of their lies. CIA operatives often pose as journalists or insurance agents (gives them access to the installations which are being insured, that’s why AIG became a subsidiary of the CIA decades ago). Needless to say this exposes lots of innocent people to the consequences of false accusations. Legitimate journalists should probably quit any media company that cooperates with intelligence agencies for their own protection, or at least insist that their bosses clean up their act.
The west’s taxpayer funded kindling of islamic fury via decades of blatantly criminal human rights violations and war crimes masquerading as foreign policies, which have yet to be prosecuted (should rumsfeld and cheney be punished under sharia law?) has given rise to armies of traumatized pawns which are being imported as a tool of conquest of the west by the satanic bankster elite. See: http://thoughtcrimeradio.net/2017/04/the-muslim-weapon/
I haven’t read this book but it seems topical:
Why are most of the terrorists in the West drawn from the small percentage of our population who are Muslims? This book makes it perfectly clear that Islam is a religion of war and conquest, and that this is precisely how Islam was viewed in the West, right up until thousands of innocent Americans were wiped out on 9/11. The book shows how, since year 1 of the Islamic calendar, Jihad has been the fundamental component leading to Islam’s success. And the book proves that this account of Islam was known by the educated elite across the West for centuries. We prove that “Islam is a Religion of Peace” is The Grand Lie of the 21st century, a form of Holocaust Denial refusing to recognize the endless slaughter of non-Muslims by Muslims.
In addition to the 100 page Introduction showing how in just 20 years the lies of the elite have turned the notion of Islam upside-down, the book contains an entire Koran, decrypted by placing the parts of the Koran into chronological order – thus demonstrating that Islam was a failure until Mohammed started to make killing unbelievers an act of worship within Islam. Within minutes of looking at our presentation of the Koran you will understand why so much terrorism comes from the small minority who are Muslims. Moreover, you will understand why many other Muslims are not taking an active role in the vanguard of Jihadi terrorism. You will see laid bare the Koran’s obsession with non-Muslims and Islam’s obsession with wiping out any belief system that is not Islamic.
The problem with Islamic terrorism gets worse by the year. Politicians, clergy, teachers are lying to you and your children. They are working to enable the violent Islamic takeover of the West. When the state and the professional classes are aligned with Islam, you owe it to your family to learn the true scale of the problem.
McLoughlin spent many years researching at a post-graduate level and in teaching in British universities. He saw how cultural marxism and political correctness were becoming endemic, and decided that not only was this a toxic environment, but that no work of any lasting value could be produced in such an environment.
After he left academia for business, McLoughlin had no desire to become a writer. Until he could no longer ignore the disaster of cultural marxism and political correctness spreading into wider society. European civilisation is on the verge of collapse and, on present demographic trends, by the end of the twenty-first century over two thousand years of culture will be replaced by the lifestyle of a desert tribe. Seeing this, He could not keep quiet, but felt compelled to write books on those topics which are vital if Europe has any chance of waking up before it is too late.
As the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) progresses towards Deir Ezzor, the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), mostly made up of Syrian Kurds, began to prepare for a military offensive on the Syrian city in order to prevent the government forces from re-establishing military control over the oil rich-territory.
Despite all promises that the U.S. doesn’t intend to extend its presence in Syria after defeating ISIS, Washington continues to increase the number of American military and set up new bases in Syria.
Yesterday, Gulf News reported that the U.S.-led Coalition had dropped off an elite squad in the eastern part of the province of Deir Ezzor. According to many experts, its prior goal is to gather intelligence and prepare staging ground for the SDF’s offensive in Deir Ezzor.
This position is proved by Ahmed Abu Khawla, a SDF official. Khawla said, the SDF could start its assault on Deir Ezzor “within several weeks” in parallel with an ongoing battle for nearby Raqqa city. Khawla also added that all military plans were absolutely ready.
Besides, according to sources close to the SDF, the U.S.-backed forces intend to conduct assault from the province of Al-Hasakah, where the U.S. Special Forces troops were dropped off.
Considering the U.S. and the Coalition have illegally invaded Syria’s territory, there is only one way for Washington to remain in Syria – to establish full control over Deir Ezzor. In this case the United States are helped by the Kurds, who are also interested in seizing oil fields.
In his turn, Talal Silo, spokesman of the SDF, said that Washington had “a strategy policy for decades to come.”
Obviously, the U.S. actions in Syria are unlikely to be limited by fighting ISIS. Perhaps, it is only a part of the plan to destroy urban infrastructure and overthrow Assad’s government in Syria. Now it is extremely important for the SAA not to let the U.S.-backed forces to seize the initiative in Deir Ezzor. The future of the country and geopolitical strategic equation will depend on who will control the strategic region of oil rich-territory in Syria.
This is bad. Very bad. And it won’t be confined to foreign policy. Empires seldom end gracefully.
A quagmire is defined as a complex or unpleasant position that is difficult to escape. President Trump’s recently announced war plans in Afghanistan maintain that quagmire. They come at a time when US Empire is failing and its leadership in the world is weakening. The US will learn what other empires have learned, “Afghanistan is the graveyard of empires.”
During the presidential campaign, some became convinced that Trump would not be an interventionist president. His tweets about Afghanistan were one of the reasons. In January of 2013, he tweeted, “Let’s get out of Afghanistan. Our troops are being killed by the Afghanis we train and we waste billions there. Nonsense! Rebuild the USA.” Now, we see a president who carries on the interventionist tradition of US Empire.
While Afghanistan has been a never-ending active war since 9-11, making the 16-year war the longest in US history, the truth is the United States became directly involved with Afghanistan some 38 years ago, on July 3, 1979. As William Rivers Pitts writes “On that day, at the behest of National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, President Jimmy Carter signed the first directive in an operation meant to destabilize the Soviet-controlled government of Afghanistan.” In fact when the US dropped the MOAB bomb, Trump was bombing tunnels built with the assistance of the CIA in the 1980′s for the mujaheddin and Bin Laden.
Trump’s Afghan policy is inaccurately described as a new approach but has only one element that is new – secrecy, as Trump will not tell us how many soldiers he will send to this war. His so-called new strategy is really a continuation of the permanent war quagmire in Afghanistan, which may be an intentional never ending war for the empire’s geopolitical goals. Ralph Nader reviews 16 years of headlines about Afghanistan, calling it a “cruel boomeranging quagmire of human violence and misery… with no end in sight.”…
There is an inherent danger of news organizations getting infected by “confirmation bias” when they want something to be true so badly that even if the evidence goes in the opposite direction they twist the revelation to fit their narrative. Such is how The Washington Post, The New York Times and their followers in the mainstream media are reacting to newly released emails that actually show Donald Trump’s team having little or no influence in Moscow.
On Tuesday, for instance, the Times published a front-page article designed to advance the Russia-gate narrative, stating: “A business associate of President Trump promised in 2015 to engineer a real estate deal with the aid of the president of Russia, Vladimir V. Putin, that he said would help Mr. Trump win the presidency.”
Wow, that sounds pretty devastating! The Times is finally tying together the loose and scattered threads of the Russia-influencing-the-U.S.-election story. Here you have a supposed business deal in which Putin was to help Trump both make money and get elected. That is surely how a casual reader or a Russia-gate true believer would read it – and was meant to read it. But the lead is misleading.
The reality, as you would find out if you read further into the story, is that the boast from Felix Sater that somehow the construction of a Trump Tower in Moscow would demonstrate Trump’s international business prowess and thus help his election was meaningless. What the incident really shows is that the Trump organization had little or no pull in Russia as Putin’s government apparently didn’t lift a finger to salvage this stillborn building project.
But highlighting that reality would not serve the Times’ endless promotion of Russia-gate. So, this counter-evidence gets buried deep in the story, after a reprise of the “scandal” and the Times hyping the significance of Sater’s emails from 2015 and early 2016. For good measure, the Times includes a brief and dishonest summary of the Ukraine crisis….
The talking war-heads strike again.
