A tough new law marks the onset of a new era of forced medication in California, as the state successfully eliminated all personal and religious exemptions to vaccines for children stuck in the state’s public school system.
After weeks of protests and political tension, and one of the most aggressive and expensive state lobbying campaigns on record, the California state legislature finally passed S.B. 277, crushing individual medical choice and delivering a huge victory to corporate beneficiaries in the drug industry. Governor Jerry Brown (D) promptly signed it into law on June 30, 2015.
Sen. Joel Anderson (R-Alpine) called it “a direct attack on our liberty and a violation of our parental rights,” according to the Los Angeles Times.
The new law is the most rigid in the nation, depriving families of personal belief exemptions under the state’s Health and Safety Code. Parents will now unable to opt out their school-age children from the long list of government-endorsed injections, including shots for Diphtheria, Hepatitis B, Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib), Measles, Mumps, Pertussis (whooping cough), Poliomyelitis, Rubella, Tetanus, Varicella (chickenpox), as well as “any other disease deemed appropriate by the department.” …
U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) gave America a disturbing look at what happens behind-the-scenes in the legislature. While a printer worked furiously behind him, Lee explained how the Senate was just given under 1 hour to read and comprehend a massive spending bill before the scheduled vote.
Here is Senator Lee’s message from July 21st, 2015:LEE: We received this bill at 3:07 p.m. The bill is 1,033 pages long. We’re being called on to vote on it at 4 o’clock. We’re only up to about page 500 in printing it off. I’m pretty sure that its going to be hard to read the whole bill in its entirety and understand it in the roughly 30 minutes between now and when we have to vote on the bill.
In a scene more reminiscent of a war-zone than an American city, Berkeley, California police conducted what looked like a full-scale military operation in a residential neighborhood in response to a one person robbery of a local laundromat.
Despite the fact that no one was injured in the robbery, police decided to effectively close down an entire neighborhood in an attempt to catch the “silver tooth” robber who they admitted may or may not have been armed. Police advised residents to stay in their homes as they went house to house to search for the suspect….
The following photos, published in a series of tweets, clearly show a massive overkill for one suspect…..
In a radical attack on the due-process rights of Americans that received virtually no media attention, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives voted to give the Obama administration the unilateral power to strip you of your passport and right to travel without a trial or even criminal charges. The scheme does not even include a way to challenge your status as a non-person involuntarily trapped inside U.S. borders on orders from the secretary of state. Lawmakers, some of whom could themselves be caught in the dragnet along with myriad administration officials, praised the effort as a way to stop alleged terrorists from travelling. But critics said it was yet another attack on the fundamental rights of Americans, such as due-process protections, and that it must be resisted.
As if to illustrate how out of touch with the U.S. Constitution most members of Congress have become, the legislation, HR 237, also known as “FTO (foreign terrorist organization) Passport Revocation Act,” did not even receive a recorded vote — supposedly because it was so “uncontroversial.” It passed after 15 minutes of alleged “debate.” Bill sponsor Ted Poe (R-Texas) claimed the measure, adopted under a “suspension of the rules” typically used for trivialities such as renaming post offices, was passed unanimously. Of course, in an age in which the White House openly claims the unilateral authority to murder or indefinitely detain American citizens without even charging them with a crime, passport revocations likely seem trivial by comparison. But opponents of the measure said it was a big deal nonetheless.
Under the bill, “the Secretary of State may refuse to issue a passport to any individual whom the Secretary has determined has aided, assisted, abetted, or otherwise helped an organization the Secretary has designated as a foreign terrorist organization,” the text states. “The Secretary of State may revoke a passport previously issued to any individual” whom Secretary of State John Kerry, or future administrations that could be even more radical, unilaterally decides may have done any of those things. The terms are left undefined, opening up widespread potential for abuse, and there is no appeals process outlined in the legislation.
In essence, if approved by the Senate and signed into law by Obama, one man — far-left radical Kerry, for now — would have the power to strip you of your unalienable, God-given rights enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. Under the measure, individuals targeted by Kerry or his successors would have no right to due-process of law — no trial by jury, no chance to contest the findings in open court (or anywhere else), no right to be presumed innocent before proven guilty, not even a right to see the accusations. Indeed, even actual criminal charges are unnecessary under the scheme for somebody to be permanently trapped in or out of the United States based on secret evidence, with no mechanism to appeal. ….
Inexplicably the article goes on to call kerry a “radical leftist” when fascist would be closer to the truth. His supposed leftist credentials are based on his PR staged testimony to congress after returning from an apparently choreographed tour in vietnam. The man is an aristocrat, a skull-and-bonesman, as authentic a vietnam era veteran as W bush. Sigh. But at least the NA is talking about the passport issue. I couldn’t find it anywhere else!

As trade ministers gather for negotiations at a luxury resort in Hawai’i on Wednesday to finalize the secretive Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement, hundreds of people are planning to stage protests, hold performances, and raise a sacred “call to attention” to send the message that attempts by the global elite to put “profit over people” are not welcome and will not be tolerated.
“The TPP is a threat to our sovereignty as Native Hawaiians, and as human beings,” said Kaleikoa Ka’eo, professor of Hawaiian Studies at the University of Hawai’i, in a press statement. “This secret trade agreement would allow corporations to control decisions about how we live without any accountability to us, the people of this land.”
Under the banner “Stop TPP by Land and by Sea,” protesters from organizations including Kāko’o Haleakalā, AiKea, Pacific Alliance to Stop Slavery, Public Citizen, and Sierra Club will gather on the Kā’anapali Beach on the island of Maui to voice their opposition to the deal, which has been broadly criticized by social movements and civil societies across the globe….
Meanwhile, the U.S. government and multinationals are moving rapidly to strengthen their strangleholds on the global economy. The White House is hoping that this week’s four-day meeting will clinch a final deal—just a month after President Barack Obama signed controversial Fast Track legislation into law.
The accelerated timeline can be attributed at least in part to the political climate in the United States.
Watchdog group Public Citizen said last week in a statement (pdf) that the White House is “desperate” to announce a final accord: “Unless the Obama administration can not only announce a final [TPP] deal by the start of August, but also by then complete a TPP text and give notice to Congress of intent to sign it, a U.S. congressional vote on TPP almost certainly will be pushed into the politically perilous 2016 presidential election year.”
Opponents of the deal say that now is a critical time to mobilize against what they call an unjust and far-reaching corporate giveaway.
The mammoth pact has been negotiated in secret since at least 2008 and includes the U.S. and 11 Pacific Rim countries: Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. These countries together represent 40 percent of the world’s GDP, making this the largest trade deal yet.
Its many controversial provisions, revealed almost entirely through leaks, include “investor-state dispute settlement” systems (ISDS), popularly known as corporate tribunals, which would create a parallel legal avenue for corporations to sue governments for loss of “expected future profit,” with the power to overrule national protections of environmental and human rights. …
Now that the World Health Organization has publicly condemned glyphosate herbicide as “probably carcinogenic to humans,” awareness of this insidious chemical’s contamination of the human food supply is suddenly exploding among health-conscious consumers.
Most people, however, have no awareness at all that commercial wheat products are saturated with glyphosate before harvest. They think glyphosate is only used on genetically modified crops like corn and soybeans. But it turns out that glyphosate is routinely used as a wheat crop drying chemical to speed up harvesting. (Monitor breaking news headlines on glyphosate in real time at Glyphosate.news, part of the new FETCH.news network.)
The very chemical that was designed to kill weeds, in other words, is so toxic to plant life that commercial farmers are using it to accelerate the death of wheat crops, thereby reducing the delay between cutting the crop and delivering it to market.
The upshot is that the commercial wheat products you’re buying in the store are saturated with deadly, cancer-causing glyphosate weed killer….
Essentially, much of the entire non-organic wheat-based food supply is now heavily contaminated with glyphosate, a toxic chemical now widely recognized as being genotoxic (damaging to your DNA and potentially leading to cancer). To protect yourself from glyphosate, it is crucial that you only purchase and consume certified organic wheat products. ….
Nearly one in four children are living in poverty in the United States, a higher percentage compared to the poverty rate during the Great Recession in the late 2000s, according to a new report by a child advocacy group.
About 22 percent of Americans kids, 18.7 million, lived in low-income households in 2013, a four percent increase since 2008, the Annie E. Casey Foundation said in a report released on Tuesday.
Data for 2014 are not yet available, but the report anticipates that the child poverty rate remains at an “unacceptably high level.”
“Although we are several years past the end of the recession, millions of families still have not benefited from the economic recovery,” said Patrick McCarthy, president and CEO of the Casey Foundation.
“While we’ve seen an increase in employment in recent years, many of these jobs are low-wage and cannot support even basic family expenses. Far too many families are still struggling to provide for the day-to-day needs of their children, notably for the 18.7 million kids who are living in poverty. We can and must do better: we can make policy choices to lift more families into economic stability,” McCarthy said.
African American, American Indian and Hispanic children were more than twice as likely to live in poverty as white children, the report said.
Nearly a third of children are living in families where no parent has full-time employment, the foundation’s 2015 Kids Count Data Book reported. …

Asset stripping is a method in which a company or an individual, known as a corporate raider, attains control of another company, and then auctions off the acquired company’s assets. The sold assets are often used to repay the debt of the corporate raider, which may have been increased due to the acquisition. The process of asset stripping is utilised by corporate raiders in order to repay the debts they may have, whilst increasing their net worth. A company that may become susceptible to asset stripping is a company whose individual assets are worth more than its collective net worth. …
How close is the USA to insolvency? If you accept the fake “national debt” as legitimate (see monetary.org) then all it would take would be a crash of the dollar to force interest rates through the roof. Monetary reform is a matter of human survival, as important as food and water.
People tend to forget about the things they do on a daily basis that precludes them to disease, and often blame genetics as the primary reason their health is not reflecting their current lifestyle. Although genetics certainly have merit when it comes to the likelihood of living with illness, it is more likely that certain “traumatic” exposures throughout life are at the root of the majority of disease.
Here are three traumatic exposures people face, by the age of six, that lead to chronic disease.
