The anti-gravity, trickle-UP “2014 Farm Bill” cut $8,000,000,000 in food stamps and added $7,000,000,000 in farm subsidies.
Congratulations, Big Ag!!!
Corporate welfare here there and everywhere. Banks. Energy. Ag. Medicine. Insurance. The Military-Industrial Complex… did I miss anyone? But then, of course, in the trickle-DOWN theory, this is how it works:
BIG AG will use plenty of BIG CHEM fertilizers and pest control plus those ingenious BIG AGRO-CHEM GMO seeds, meaning more jobs for mad scientists who work hard to make cows less flatulent, even while fed foods that they cannot digest – like GMO corn and soy.
Force feed “we the useless eaters” BIG AGRO-CHEM GMO foods that remain unidentified on packaging and the overall health outcome results in higher profits for BIG PHARMA and BIG MEDICINE. Diabolical, no?
I have it on the highest authority that the employees of a certain company based in St. Louis that starts with “M” avoid corn and soy. Why? Because they know the outcome of eating the stuff.
The 2014 Farm Bill is a corporate WIN-WIN and a LOSS for “we the people”. “We the people” lose, for the trickle-down theory seems to be anti-gravity and the system continues to suck all the money in this country up to the top of the pyramid while our taxes pay for 7-figure raises and annual bonuses on Wall Street.
There are those who are praying that Obama will veto this bill.
