One is that the US is selling (i.e., giving) Israel tanker aircraft to allow it to refuel its strike aircraft no matter what the US does. The inability of Israel to conduct a strike against Iran without US in-flight refueling support (if nothing else) has been the principal US military barrier against a unilateral Israeli attack — unless, of course, the Israelis wanted to lose all of their strike aircraft and many of their pilots when they ran out of fuel after the attack. Giving them an independent in-flight refueling capability eliminates that barrier and clears the way for a unilateral Israeli attack, once the planes are delivered and the Israeli crews trained – and I have no idea about that time frame.
Two is the US decision to classify the backpack bombs used in Boston (assuming they really were used) as WMDs (yes, no joke). Now, the smallest bomb dropped by the smallest combat aircraft in the world is more destructive than those backpack bombs. So I suspect the US Government, having been more than slightly embarrassed by the lack of real WMDs in Iraq and its inability to find them in Iran, is now redefining what constitutes a WMD so it can go to war against anyone, anywhere, anytime in the name of opposing WMDs, and the American sheeple will applaud.
Three is that the alleged foiled plot to derail trains between the US and Canada is being publicly and explicitly linked to a terrorist cell with direct ties to Iran. Why Iran would have wanted to have anything to do with such a hair-brained scheme is not being asked, or even addressed. War drums, anyone?
And four, the US Defense Secretary of whom so many of us hoped so much, has made it clear that he is no different from his predecessor, and on his trip to Israel has given what is effectively a “green light” for Israel to attack Iran whenever it chooses to do so, with full and complete US support. His comment to reporters on the plane to Israel makes this clear: “Israel will make the decision that Israel must make to protect itself, to defend itself,” Hagel said as he began a weeklong tour of the Middle East. Interesting that attacking another country has become a bizarre form of self-defense. Of course, the waging of preventive war is a war crime under international law, as is endorsing or assisting in the waging of preventive war….
I recall that the Saturday Night Live skit on the Hagel hearings that was pulled after its dress rehearsal had McCain asking Hagel if he would fellate a donkey if Netanyahu felt that was necessary for Israel’s security. In the skit, Hagel says “I don’t think so.” Obviously he changed his mind — donkeys in place of golden asses, anyone?
FBI & CIA now admit to putting Boston bombing suspect on 2 “watch lists,” directly contradicting previous public statements. CIA most likely sponsored suspect’s trips to meet US-backed terrorists in Chechnya, Russia.
April 25, 2013 (LD) – It is now confirmed that Russian investigators contacted the FBI at least as early as 2011 in regards to Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, and again just 6 months before the Boston attacks. Additionally, it is now revealed that both the FBI and CIA had Tsarnaev on at least 2 terrorist watch lists, contradicting previous FBI statements that the case was “closed” after not finding “any terrorism activity, domestic or foreign.”
FBI Caught in Staggering Series of Lies
The suspects, Tamerlan Tsarnaev and brother Dzhokar Tsarnaev, would be revealed to the public by the FBI a day after a bizarre press conference cancellation and a security scare at the federal courthouse where a suspect was allegedly being brought.
The FBI would feign ignorance over the suspects’ identity, appealing to the witless public for help identifying and apprehending them. It would be claimed by the suspects’ family members that the FBI had long been in contact with Tamerlan Tsarnaev, and that the bombing was a set-up. …
The White House has given final approval for dramatically raising permissible radioactive levels in drinking water and soil following “radiological incidents,” such as nuclear power-plant accidents and dirty bombs. The final version, slated for Federal Register publication as soon as today, is a win for the nuclear industry which seeks what its proponents call a “new normal” for radiation exposure among the U.S population, according Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER).
Issued by the Environmental Protection Agency, the radiation guides (called Protective Action Guides or PAGs) allow cleanup many times more lax than anything EPA has ever before accepted. These guides govern evacuations, shelter-in-place orders, food restrictions and other actions following a wide range of “radiological emergencies.” …
A new phone application called Vaccine Refused developed by the University of Iowa tracks – just as the name implies – vaccine refusals.
The application is intended to be used by health professionals to report the location of the refusal, the vaccine refused, and patient demographics. The output of the data, which is supposedly anonymous and stored securely at the University of Iowa, provides a heat map of the refusals.
I’m going to show you how the government will likely use this information – and it isn’t pretty. Let me tell you more. …
The world’s largest drug companies are encouraging pregnant women to take prescription drugs, get vaccine shots, and even have chemotherapy. Among these are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) or antidepressants, which are causing miscarriages and a variety of birth defects.
Excessive prescription drug use in pregnant women is also linked to the increase of babies born with autism, preterm birth, newborn behavioral syndrome, persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn and longer-term neurobehavioral effects.
Many feel that corporations are strongly pushing a distorted psychiatric view of drugs recommending that essentially everyone, including pregnant women, needs to be medicated in order to be normal. While antidepressants increase all different kinds of risks for pregnant women their dangers have been left largely unexamined. Corporate media downplay these serious risks as drug companies are major advertisers on corporate outlets and stand poised to make substantial profits.
